New micro motor from rcinpower: 1303.2
#16
Yup, still running the tmotor AIO.  I've made a few changes.
  • Flashed to the recently released 32.10 firmware, this has changes made to the torque response on the low-mid throttle range.
  • Set variable PWM with a 24-96kHz range with ByRPM flag instead of throttle position determining RPM.  This is just a test of the feature for now.
So I could set it to 24kHz fixed PWM to get the most power to the motors, but for now I'm going with variable PWM.

With the emax 3" avans I reakon I could approach 40A.

So i did try the high pitched avans and popped at 35A.   First time on these avan props have I achieved a RPM above 20k.

Usually these props slow down the motors from a high rpm of 22k ish (avan biblades) to 14-15k ish (avan tri blades).

It is all about overcoming the prop drag by pushing the amps.   To sustain that beautiful magnetic field and ultimately deliver some sweet, sweet torque.

Here's the build I'm running the motors on.  It's based on the NBD savage bee v1.8 frame.  It's a nice frame, lighter than others I've tried.  The stack bolt holes are tight and need to be reamed out a bit but otherwise all good.

  • NBD savage bee v1.8 frame
  • rcinpower 1303 GTS V3 plus motors, 11000kV
  • tmotor 1S bl32 13A AIO
  • HM EP2 rx
  • walksnail 1s kit with nano camera
  • truerc singularity (?) antenna
  • avans 3"
The batteries are all custom.  nothing 1s retail can sustain the amps.  Originally I used the GNB 850mAh HV pack (left) but that was only good for the HM 1202.5s and not the rcinpower 1202.5 (kv for kV), the rcinpowers are hotter.   Then moving up to 1303 11000kV was just too hot for that pack.  Even the 850mAh 1S packs I made (tattu gen 3 4s pack) have trouble on 1303 but can sustain a nice 25A on 1202.5 OK.

Now it is 1050mAh 1S pack ripped out of a bigdaddy 4S pack.  These can sustain 30+ amp draws and not bottom out.  Thumbs Up

Here's some pretune rippage, make sure to turn on sound to hear the props rip.   I'm going to call this 3 inch beast class.  Cool
