Hello all, I am a retired IT guy. I have a few years experience flying RC Planes, Cars & Boats, but I an now interested in Quads. I hope to learn a lot from this forum. Smile

Hey PickyBiker,

Hey i just started flying drones and well long story short i got my first drone stuck in a 150' high tree and i cant get it down... anyone wanna help me rescue it?? Idk what to do Sad

Welcome PickyBiker! I have learned so much just reading the adventures of other flyers on this forum.

Managed IT for a small firm for 9 years before moving to property management and technical work. With your background, I feel like learning the quads is a lot easier.

Starting a thread of your own might get you more advice than jumping into someone else's introduction thread.

The best idea if it's that high up is to fly a weighted fishing line over the branch with another quad. Tie a weight about 20 feet down the line from the quad so the line won't get caught in the props as the quad descends after crossing the branch.
