Details

The Lumenier Silk ESCs feature the powerful STM32F051 48MHZ ARM 32-bit micro-processor. This 32bit processor allows the ESC to perform with incredible precision, resulting in smooth and responsive power. The ESCs are low profile and compact in size, saving weight and making builds easy. The Silk ESCs are OPTO (no BEC) and come pre-soldered with motor, signal and power wires for your convenience. The ESC features state of the art firmware pre-installed on them, no need for flashing or updating constantly. They are compatible with PWM, Oneshot125, Oneshot42, and Multishot protocols. Simply enable the feature in the flight controller software and the ESC will automatically match it.
The Silk ESCs get their name from the extremely smooth throttle response the 32bit proccessor delivers. There is a wide throttle range of 1480 steps, ensuring a high resolution. We're sure you'll be impressed with the performance of these ESCs.

I'm not sure I like the automatic rotation restart.  To err on the side of caution, wouldn't it be better to have to shut down and restart to reinitialize the ESC?  I am not sure if I want my fingers near it when the blockage is removed it there is much throttle applied......if course the others would be rotating anyway.  Ok...never mind, I just talked myself out of my own argument. I'm thinking about grabbing a set. You think these are able to be programmed with a nano/uno? Or is the programmer a necessity?

Sucks that there is zero info online about these. No pre-release reviews? Bummer.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread...I figured it was no worse than making a new one about the same ESC.

Anyway, I am wondering if anyone has had success or knows how to reverse these ESC in software?  I bought the Lumenier programmer, but it doesn't seem to work.  I tried reading the setup with BlHeliSuite and BlHeli_32 configurators, but no love either.

I wired up the 18 amp 32 bit Silks already into a new Japalura build and of course cut the wires too short to to simply swap and re-solder.  Trying to avoid starting over ...and any ugly wire splicing if at all possible.

Honestly, when I bought these, I didn't realize they were this old and were not re-flashable to BLHeli...should have read the fine print.
