That's been there for almost a year.

Thanks for posting this! ESCape32 works very well on my IFLIGHT BLITZ esc. There's plenty of low throttle authority and agility.

I’ve got a least a couple of boards on the compatible esc list, I might have to try it out.

Hello everyone!
I'm the author of ESCape32. Big Grin
I posted some preface information about the firmware here: https://github.com/neoxic/ESCape32/wiki/Introduction

Internally, ESCape32 features 100% hardware commutation. In STM32, it's called PCC (preloaded commutation control) when the next commutation step is prepared after an atomic hardware commutation state change. BEMF zero-crossing detection via comparator output filtering and capture is also done 100% in hardware. The only spot when critical code kicks in is BEMF zero-crossing validation logic (it's a very small and fast piece of code). Overall, motor control loop uses only two timers tied together in hardware - one for motor PWM and commutation control, the other for comparator output filtering/capture and commutation triggering. This approach leads to very precise commutation control, increased torque and crazy high RPM rates.

Please let me know if you have questions. Please also join our Discord server for more information on flashing and tweaking.

Welcome to intoFPV, senyx!

I’m looking forward to giving it a shot, and I’m sure you’ll see me on the discord when I do, probably asking what I did wrong. Big Grin

Thank you kindly! Smile Be prepared to change your PID settings in some corner cases, i.e. lower your D term, for example. ESCape32 is different from BL32. It appears to yield more torque. It's also a general purpose firmware which means it's not just for drones. Hence, proper handling of power is better done on the FC side as I see it.

Oh... and the cool thing is that there is always an easy way to migrate to some other firmware (the ESCape32 bootloader is capable of updating/replacing itself) should you wish to try something else. True freedom!  Smile
