New Fatsharks?
#1
Hey all!

So for a little background, I origially had a set of Eachine Goggles Two. Massive FOV, like, front-row-movie-theater big. Then I bought a pair of Fatshark Dom V3s. These were so much smaller, and I was unused to it. They seem just a bit too small for me though. Great picture and all, but just do not do well enough for what I am looking for. Can anyone testify as to the differences in the HDV3 vs the V3s?

I think it's just a matter of time getting used to the "smaller" FOV. It's pretty normal that the huge "box" style goggles provide a larger FOV than the compact fatshark because of the difference screen sizes and optics...

I've been flying with my DomV2 for over 2 years now, putting a Box style goggles on my face will give me a headache because I am not used to the huge FOV, the screen is so big I have to roll my eyes a lot to read the OSD.

Give it a bit more flight time with the Fatshark, i think it will get better over time Smile You should be able to use the Fatshark with a simulator, so try that too if you can't fly outdoor...

As to the differences between HDV3 and V3, here is a comparison on my blog:

Nice!! Thanks champ! I do hate that everytime I read IPD, my brain says PID. Was curious how you set the PIDs on a fatshark for some time, lol.
