New Fatshark Goggles - Dominator SE
#1
The new fatshark Dominator SE FPV goggles is similar spec to the Dominator V3 but at around $20 less.

It's also being offered with a spironet antennae and raceband VRX making it a first for Fatshark (normally FatShark only includes dipoles).

Specifications
  •  59-69mm IPD range (adjustable with sliders on the bottom)
  •  VGA 640×480 LCD Display
  •  NTSC/PAL auto signal selection
  •  Modular Heat tracker bay (No head tracking module included)
  •  Modular receiver bay
  •  DC In: 7-13V for 2S or 3S batteries
  •  Integrated DVR.
In terms of battery it comes with a 2s 1000mah however it is compatable with a 3s lipo. Word on the street is that a nice high capacity battery is on the way from an after market manufacturer (more on that to come). For now I guess most will bastardise vaping batteries and use them to create a larger pack however if you were fortunate (or smart) enough to dodge that fad you'll be hanging out for the larger 3s pack that will soon be available.

I'm liking the color scheme.
I have the attitude v3, quite happy with them. The only feature i wish I'd have is an integrated dvr. Other than that, great set of goggles.
So these come with the face mask (thats what i call it). For some reason, i can never comfortably fit that style of goggles, the rubber fittings on mu stock ones atr the most snug imo.

Now in deeper thought, I would gladly swap the built-in head tracker for a dvr anytime.

This is awesome! I just bought my first ever pair of fatsharks (teleporter v5) and they are a blast! I might have to put these on the shopping list!

hobbyking has listed them

color combination looks good but i am still worried about those hot days in India (temperature reaches 45 degree centigrade in summers)
so not interested in buying one of these and yeah they are still expensive and that's another reason
hdv2(s) with orange and white would be so good and if they come i may start saving money

EDIT:notice module bay has two holes

fatshark makes a diversity receiver module that's probably why the bay cover has the two holes.

I was a racing judge at the US Drone Nationals this past weekend. Fatshark had the SE for each judge to use. Very comfortable and great field of view. I saw them listed on quadcopterNYC.com for US$359.

I just got a "Stock Arrival" alert from GetFPV.com for these.

(The page still shows "Expected 8/30/2016", but the "Add to cart" button is active. I think they just forgot to edit the page.  The "email me when these arrive" button is gone.)

Apparently they have bigger FOv than the Dominator V2 because they use the same optics as the HDV2 I am told on Facebook. That isn't mentioned in the official spec.

Are you getting one Scotty?

I really want to get one (like right now!) - but I'm going to try to wait until my house is paid off (last payment in 2 weeks!).  It'll be a nice celebration gift to myself...plus that'll give me a chance to see some more reviews.  We'll see if I can hold out that long... Big Grin
