New Demon Pulse PDB
#1
New PDB from DemonRC, the Demon Pulse v1 Cool
http://demonrc.eu/product/demon-pulse-pd...ontroller/

Im curious how all the veterans here think this will compare to the tried and tested Demon Core v2.3 Thinking

I am still learning and trying to make sure I dont fall victim to pretty dancing lights vs tried and true performance. Biggest difference I notice straightaway is the Pulse handles a bit less current. (Shouldn't be an issue for me and my build) But does the rest of the board exhibit any weaknesses compared to the Core v2.3?

Edit: I was incorrect about the current handling.
Core v2.3=120A continuous 180A burst
Pulse pdb=140A continuous 200A burst
Too much reseach. Brain need rest!

This bit less current shouldnt bother you as 140A is still plenty. The biggest difference is a strong 5v line designed for use with leds and to power HD cameras off of it. You can switch led sequences and colors on pdb itself by switch as being able to choose lightning color is a requirement in some competitions.

EDIT it can also handle power hungry 5v vtx like the old tbs
Find me on Youtube and Instagram. I currently fly: DRC Aura, NOX5R, Minimalist 112 and drive a scrap RC car

But no hardware changes that you see causing issues in the first revision? Just doing my homework lol Smile

This is the second official revision from what I can tell Wink no, I don't see any issues, but I was (am) only flying on various versions of core. 2.3 is pretty much perfect if you dont need programmable led switch or a a lot of current on the 5v line. If you do, go and try Smile

Btw if you seek quality, you are looking in the right direction. Those are premium products.

Thanks for the replys Konrad!
I think Im going to try the pulse. Demonrc DOES make excellent products and from my research they really take care of their customers. So in conclusion even if there is some unlikely bug, I feel confident I would be taken care of.
Nightrider theme baby! Might just have to name my first racer K.I.T.T. Cool

Edit: I was incorrect about the current handling.
