Need assistance wiring FC to VTX
#1
[Image: 6RxGsF0l.png]

I am very new to the hobby so help would be appreciated. I am trying to wire up my VTX to the FC but I can't find any straight forward info on it. I have attached a picture of both of them. I can't find any material that states what each terminal does and after watching tons of videos I feel even more lost.

I am making a 4" drone with a 20x20 stack setup. I have a Luminear LUX Mini F7 and a Lux Mini VTX. I can't figure out where to wire them together or where to attach the radio TX/RX. I do know how to wire up the camera though so...small victories lol

If anyone can help me with videos, reading material, or even drawing on the picture I attached to this where things should go, Id REALLY appreciate it.

I would wire the camera into PWR/GND/CAM.  Nothing more really needed there.  The VTX will be wired into PWR/GND/VTX/SA.  This way the camera is powered and the signal from the cam will be processed through the FC's OSD chip.  The VTX will be powered, the VTX connection will be the "VIDEO OUT" from the FC with the OSD overlay.  The SA connection is for controlling the VTX (power, channel and freq) through your radio's stick commands and also for BetaFlight/INAV.

Not sure which receiver you are trying to wire up.  I fly Crossfire and recently ELRS.  The picture attached is representative of how I would wire things up.

That was tons of help! thank you so much. I am currently wiring a receiver in that only has ground, power, and a yellow wire which I am unsure of. I have soldered it into both the tx3 and it didn't work and the rx1 and it didn't work. I think maybe I am not binging it correctly? There is the button on the FC in the middle but when I press and hold it, nothing seems to happen. I sometimes get a TELEMETRY LOST voice prompt from my TX12 so I am thinking they are communicating, just something is missing. How do I find which type of signal I need to use (i.e. FRSky, etc).

What receiver are you using? If it only has one wire, this is generally an SBUS if there is only one lead besides power and ground.

I am using an R81 by radio master. I have attached a picture to better clarify what I mean. So if it is SBUS, does that mean I attach the yellow wire to the SBUS pad?

So the YELLOW wire is your SIG (in this case SBUS) wire and it should be wired to the SBUS pad on the FC.  The F7 based boards do not require messing with inversion, just wire it in and and set RX1 as your SERIAL in your PORTS tab of BetaFlight Configurator.

In your BFC Receiver tab, select SERIAL in your mode tab and SBUS in your Provider tab.

Worked like a charm! One last request. How would you go about wiring in a buzzer on this setup? I have a DT-B90 and I wired the buzzer up to the BZ+/- but I am unsure where the yellow wire goes. I put it into TX/RX4 and got nothing.

I set my beeper in Betaflight but I get no sound from it.

This should be the last piece of the puzzle. Thank you so much for your help so far Smile I have learned a ton.
