Don't do matty flips on a hill full of tall grass...  
Took me and two other people over an hours searching for my quad... Just about to give up and walk back up the hill, and I found it laying up side down !
Was planning to come here again at 7am to search glad I don't have to get up early now!

Looks like a beautiful spot!!!! Glad you found it. I got my quad stuck at the very top of a 100+ foot tree thought I lost it Bc it wouldn’t budge. Called a friend to bring some rope but after about 20 min I got the thing out with a full throttle flip. Glad the battery lasted!

I almost lost one. Flew close to dusk. It crash and lipo popped off. Spent 3 hours with a flash light griding the field without success. Came back the next day, the field got mowed. I thought the quad was in pieces when I found the lipo wrapper shredded. Couldn't find any pieces of the quad though. I saw a trash can, and found it at the bottom sitting is a layer of beer. My phone number was on the quad and everything. No one bother to call. Dried it off for a few days and it flew. Eventually one of the ESC did catch on fire.

That is so bizarre and hilarious!  Was it the rooster?  Who would just throw that out?? Lol

At least you got it back!!!  I wonder what the guy mowing the lawn did when the Lipo exploded in the blades?

This was before the Rooster. It was the GEPRC RX5. It has offset arms. Great tough frame. Difficult built though.

I wonder if the guy mowed the lipo, it exploded and he looks around and saw the quad. Picked it up and toss it.

Always glad not to loss $300+.
