Naze32 Rev6 with flysky fs-ia6 reciever problems
#1
Hey all,
im banging my head against the wall and need some insite. ive looked at the diagrams and wired everything as it should be. my naze board connects to my pc and runs the motors and responds to movement in the accelerometer. but after i bind my transmiter and receiver i get no response like its not even connected. if need be i can post pictures and what have you to help diagnose. i switched from a kk2 board to this and havent flown in weeks trying to get this to work. any help would be appreciated folks.

PWM, PPM og IBUS? Assuming you are running cleanflight, have you checked that the right ticks ar chosen for whatever way the fs-ia6 is communicating with the FC? do you get any feedback from the transmitter in the transmitter tab?

RX receives power? Tried Ibus or PWM?
Find me on Youtube and Instagram. I currently fly: DRC Aura, NOX5R, Minimalist 112 and drive a scrap RC car

Ah sorry, just noticed it's ia6. Did You choose PWM in cleanflight? I think it's PPM by default. (sorry, ruling out obvious things we forget about sometimes).

Maybe post some screenshots of configurator?

Did you plug in your flight battery? (Oops - sorry, just noticed you said you could get the motors to run.)

You probably saw this video, but just in case:

ia6 doesn't support PPM, ia6b does. Check settings in clean/betaflight and report back Smile

On the Configuration tab in Cleanflight, under Receiver Mode, do have this box checked?

Can you test the receiver using an old esc/motor or servo, or something (disconnecting the Rx from the Naze of course and using a standard rc flight pack for power)?  Or do you have another receiver that you can try?

PPM is off, on the TX? Channel 1 has GND, PWR, and SIG connections between board and RX (correct orientation) all others have SIG? Red light on RX is solid? Just some things I thought about checking. Hope you get it sorted.

Actually the red light blinks slowly after binding. But when i hit the bind button and turn on the tx it says binding ok. Could therebe an issue with my tx? It was working days before i got the new board and then i get the new board and all this happens. I even set the tx back to factory settings to make sure notjing was out of whack. I dont know why this happens i just wanna fly soooo baaaaaad!
