0 21-Oct-2016, 03:06 PM I was running betaflight 3.0 on my Naze32 Rev5. I wanted to do the new update that came out on the 18th. My board got half way through the update and quit. Now I can't connect to the board, I have tried to bridge the bootloader pads, and still have no luck. Any help would be great. Thanks.

15 22-Oct-2016, 10:20 AM (This post was last modified: 22-Oct-2016, 10:23 AM by Grisha0.) if the install procedure was broken in the middle you will not be able to connect to the board to see the "quad" what you can do is prepare reflash before connecting the naze, do flash on connect. In my case I mostly BADLY shorted the boot pads (got plenty of "no response from bootloader"), try different tools, or solder them for few mintues
- eventually mine kicked in...
things to try,
get cleanflight configurator and try to do a full flash (CF firmware for start, erase everything, on connect, set rate to 11520 (if I remember correctly), try without boot pads, try with them, if that doesn't work )
if none of this works, you can try install using ftdi, some materials for reading:

0 Thanks. I will try this today and see if I can get it flying. I have ordered a ftdi, but I don't have it yet. I hate not having a boot button, I will solder it that way I am sure the I am bridging the pads. I will repost after I try.
