The manual says its recommended to use OpenAero32 od Baseflight.

I'm wondering if I could flash Cleanflight (or betaflight) on it without issues. I read some thread
saying the barometer doesnt work well, but i dont mind as i'm planning to use it on a acro-only mini tricopter.

If so, what target would I use to flash it, the normal naze32 hex file?

It seems to have the same CPU and gyro/accel chip.

I expect the performance to be equal to the Acro Naze board, right?

Betaflight has AFROMINI.hex so it should work. Not sure (I don't use mini), but I think baro issue was fixed - easy to check, but as You said it's not an issue for You anyway.
