my mediocre video collection thread

Thought i'd make a thread where i post videos that i'm not entirely happy with, or am trying new stuff or moves, or just testing things like camera settings for example... anyway, videos that i don't post anywhere else. Might even set all of those as "unlisted" later on to clean up my youtube channel a bit more, idk.

Thanks and hmmm good question lol, trying to make up a name right now... How about... sideways flip, or maybe "horizon flip" would sound cool? ... and ending with a 3/4 compensated roll. I'd prefer to call those "cam rolls" though, so, in Tony-Hawk-like skate-style let's call it a "horizon flip to cam roll"

I like 'Horizon flip to cam roll' but it has the sound of a combo, if you wanted to stick with the Tony Hawk style, I was thinking maybe a 'quarter-flip shove-it' or to name it after yourself the 'FF Tumble?' or the 'Tunes' Turntable?'

Haha i like the turntable reference, but tbh i do see it as a combo, and i didn't wanna sound like i invented either of both moves, i've seen both before by other pilots... maybe not as slow, and not as a combo, but i'm for sure not the first to do those. Might need your help in the future though, have a new unique trick in mind...

I found a couple of his other songs. One of them talked about other rappers just being walking commercials or something I thought that was kind of funny because there are some out there where that's very true... including a few that I like! x.x

Another one that goes in this category. We were flying this section of that spot for the first time, so i stayed pretty careful in order to not get stuck in a tree. Video could have been better if i actually edited some flights together, but i really just wanted to test different render settings aaaand...



...still bad. So much pixellation and blurriness, especially during fast lighting changes. I find this really annoying... i will experiment more but there's not much left to try.

As for the song... the moment it hit the bigbird part... My heart started to ache for a set of CD decks that I used to have called CDX ♥ turntablism is a special art and that song was full of great examples of why.

Haha   no don't be like me, i can't even afford building a new computer to make music again... hurts every time i get inspired lol.

Definitely! music for working on boring PowerPoints today I think groove up the day some... I might have to use some of this for one of my videos.

my computer is a dinosaur these days and I can still work on music with it (video is a little more tough sometimes)... What DAW do/did you use/prefer?

Looked great to me man! From a viewers standpoint, I don't notice much except the epic location and scenery, along with some very smooth and graceful flying, accompanied by feel good music. 
Also, I usually only watch Youtube in 720p if that matters. (easier to stream) 

Coming from the Artist in me, sometimes we are too critical of ourselves as well. While we notice the tiny little imperfections, because we have spent hours looking at it, others won't necessarily know the difference if the tiger I am painting has 12 stripes instead of the 13 that show in the reference photo

I guess what I am trying to say is don't be so hard on yourself lol  My wife even likes watching your videos. And that's saying something!   (mine just give her motion sickness   )
