I've inever seen a glacier closer until two weeks ago, Fellaria glacier is in Valmalenco , north Italy.  To reach the lake at the base of the glacier you have nice hike up to the mountain , about 6 km.
I think is an amazing place , weather change faster , is like a small Iceland in Italy.
