My First 220mm Quad / part advice

I love the way it looks. And is a good price. I just can't tell where one would route the vtx antenna.

I'm looking to do my first build as well, using this frame. Where would you mount the vtx and run the antenna?

Hallo emperorsgroove,
the frame has already been delivered and it makes a good impression. All dimensions are correct and it seems qualitative.   Thumbs Up

When all parts for my quad were delivered, (I'm still waiting for the FC) I will upload some photos and a short report.   Big Grin

I will mount the antenna, as unseen has shown. This is probably also provided for this frame.  Thinking

Hello all,

thank you again for your help. Now the parts are all ordered and partly supplied.
Instead of choosing the Racerstar ESC I have decided to choose the Airbot Wraith32. They have been tested and recommended from DroneMesh.

The only left part in which I am still a little insecure is regarding the choice of the propeller or the choice of the pitch. I have read somewhere that the DALPROP Cyclones T5045C are good. But maybe a pitch of 45 is too big? What do you fly? Huh

Furthermore I would like to write a little report when I’m finished. Should I do it in this thread or maybe better in a new one in the category “Mini Quad”?  Thinking

The best place for build logs is the Mini Quad section as you'll be able to tag your thread as a build log.

The Cyclones are great propellers and they'll go really well with the motors you have chosen. I have the same propellers on my Armattan Armadillo with 2205 2600kv motors on 3S and they are very good.

I can't say much about your ESC, apart from the fact that they are very new and have firmware that is still very much in development. Personally, I'm waiting until BLHeli_32 is more mature before I spend my money on any BLHeli_32 ESCs.

I haven't tried the Wraith, but I've been hearing stories of them burning up in flight.
The Betaflight 32-bit ESC's are meant to be the upgrade of them that were only released last month.

But like Unseen mentioned, BLHeli-32 ESC's are still waiting for further development to make them truly better than BLHeli_S which is better value right now.
