Let alone flying one I can't wait to try personally. Well... that's not gonna happen. We tear down the track and build a new one every week!! Or are the courses always different when you practice? • Posts: 328 Threads: 76 Likes Received: 191 in 85 posts Likes Given: 39 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 16 (05-May-2017, 06:22 AM)Drone0fPrey Wrote: Eventually you will have made 200 laps. Lately we've been setting up the multi gp tracks so we can end up on the leaderboards. But usually we will make up our own. After flying maybe 20 packs I get the feel for the track. I can't imagine that's too much different for quad racing although maybe the skills are a little different. having a list of elements in your head is important though. That takes about 5 goes through a course, after about 10 you have a very good idea... after that the 200 is really just about squeezing every drop of optimization out of a course I figure even though I've never raced that kind of format outside of video games :p carl.vegas Current Quads: Operational: Diatone GT2 200 In need of repair: Bumble Bee, tehStein, Slightly modified Vortex 250 Posts: 2,410 Threads: 136 Likes Received: 1,790 in 1,052 posts Likes Given: 3,302 Joined: Jan 2017 Reputation: 50 06-May-2017, 03:56 PM (This post was last modified: 06-May-2017, 06:43 PM by Drone0fPrey.) But muscle memory comes from more than just remembering. It's when we no longer "think" about anything, we just react and our body does the rest. So after so many laps like that you are no longer thinking of looking as far ahead or what angle you're entering a turn, but instead now you are more focused on your competition and how your machine is performing. • Posts: 1,504 Threads: 83 Likes Received: 944 in 654 posts Likes Given: 2,142 Joined: Sep 2016 Reputation: 24 (05-May-2017, 02:38 AM)trojanGoat Wrote: Well... that's not gonna happen. Dude, I was disappointed, I can only imaging how pissed you were!? Yeah it's OK. That happens. Even on a real race. Sometimes you just have to bail.
