0 Hello I am having issues with my Foxeer Reaper AIO V4 45amp. The motors are spinning up when armed and no throttle. On the bench with no props the quad arms just fine but when i give it some throttle then back to zero throttle the motors will start spinning up again when no throttle is given. The motors will start spinning low rpm at first but that quickly ramps up to full throttle. If I dont use my RC to arm the quad but instead use the motor check feature, the motors spin up and back down with no issue. I have checked the RC everything seems fine in the Betaflight receiver tab and all my other quads fly just fine with that RC. This AIO came with BF 4.5 installed for some odd reason could that be the issue, as its under development still? I have tried updating the ESC firmware from Bluejay 16 to the newest version but that did not help. Im not sure what other settings in BF to try and change. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

52 If you are in angle/horizon mode or sometimes air mode, the FC will try to correct the drones position. But without any props, the position cannot be corrected so the FC will try spinning the motors faster and faster to correct the position.
If you already tested motors and orientation, you might want to put on props and test arming on the ground in acro mode.

11 I think what you are describing is normal.
Watch this video and it may explain what is happening.

0 Wow thanks very much for the fast responses. OMG spent a full day trying to troubleshoot this. I put the props on and the quad flies normally. Jeez had no idea! Guess I should have tried to fly earlier. This forum is awesome. Thanks for the JB link. I learned something today.
Thanks
