Motor start without permission
#1
Hello guys

I've a little problem with one of my brushed quad.

When I put the lipo the motor 1 start alone and at full. RX and rx are disconnected.

I've already re flash the card but nothing change.

Thx for your feedback

Cheers

If using Betaflight, set the ESC/Motor protocol to "BRUSHED".

If using Cleanflight before release 2, go to the CLI and 'set motor_pwm_rate=2000'.

Well, or board is toasted. I have exactly the same issue and no software upgrade helps. The behavior is the same, one of the motors starts at full speed regardles of armed/disarmed , rx connected/disconnected etc. As soon as there is power, the motor spins.

That means that the FET that drives the motor is toast. They're not that hard to replace if you have a hot air station.
