Motor spinning at different speed
#1
Exclamation
Hi,I am close to build my first quad. But after motor calibration when I checked it by transmitter throttle,it not spinning at same speed. After 'arming' motor 2 & 4 spinning at different speed and when i increase throttle stick motor 1 &3 at 1075 and remains increases their spinning.I rearranged the motor number 1 to 4,2 to 3,3 to 2 and 4 to 1.
But it occurring as earlier.

At ARMED with min throttle stick

    At increasing throttle stick.

What ESCs are you using and what method are you using to calibrate them?

I have EMAX 2205 S-2300KV with 4X30A Littlebee opto esc
And I calibrated with cleanflight(In motor's tab first increase master option to 2000 then plug battery,wait....    take to min. the master..... )
When I check speed through cleanflight apps it spins at same speed as usual.

at testing motors with motor's tab in cleanflight

What you are seeing is perfectly normal.

If you arm the quad, the PID controller is active and as soon as you increase the throttle, it is trying to fly the quad. As there are no propellers, when the controller tries to make a small correction to level the quad, it does not see a corresponding movement from the gyro, so it tries harder and harder.

If the correct motors turn using the motor test tab, and each motor spins in the correct direction, you are good to go!

YES! Smile Smile I solved it.Thank you "UNSEEN" & "RENOV8R"

UNSEEN wrote-It is normal if they spins at different speed. But my Quad got crashed many times then i found receiver sticks are not centered at 1500.All channel was at 1460 onward. So,my motor was spinning at different speed during throttle stick movement.

So, I centered all channels at 1500 with transmitter subtrim then I put value-4 at 'RC deadband' & 'Yaw Deadband' in receiver tab.
Then my all motors got spin at same speed.

Tomorrow I will test my flight lets see.... Big Grin Big Grin

Yes, if your channels were centred at 1460, you would have been telling the flight controller to pitch back, roll left and yaw anticlockwise!

Also, make sure that the channel values for pitch, roll, yaw and throttle go from 1000 to 2000. This is particularly important for the throttle and if it doesn't do that at the moment and you correct it, then unless you are running DShot, you will need to re-calibrate your ESCs.
