Motor protectors? |
26-Apr-2017, 09:45 PM Why more people don't run motor protectors? Is it weight? Harder to get props off? Just wondering wondered 26-Apr-2017, 09:47 PM Personally I do run them, because the extra weight is minimal as, and it's annoying to replace motors. Also, it's hard to grab the motor bell with them on to change props. Personally I rarely break a motor, they are just plain tough. Maybe if I flew over concrete more often I would use them, but my- err.. creative landing.. usually involves trees branches, grass and dirt. 27-Apr-2017, 02:58 AM Weight is the main reason I would think. Every little bit counts and motor protectors are x4. Ill keep mine on for now as I am still gaining confidence practicing and for freestyle, but once I actually enter a real race I would take them off just for that little extra edge Just my 2 cents |
