0 Ok so I have a bit of a predicament with my first quad build. Checked with a multi meter power is good fc and pdb both have power as well as vtx and rx. My boards are the wolf whoop omnibus f4 3 in 1 tower. I have simonk 30a esc with some dlfpv 2205 2300kv Motors. I get a couple tones when I plug the battery in but the motors won't spin an I'm not sure if the escs are armed tried throttle calibration with my tx and betaflight and I get no nothing. Any ideas?

24 your ESC's should have 3 short beeps increasing in tone, then 2 longer beeps the 1st lower pitch and the 2nd higher.
The last 2 beeps are the important ones - (1) the ESC is armed, the second is to confirm that throttle is at 0% and the ESC is now ready to apply power to the motor. (I have only used BL_Heli ESC's not sure if the tones are the same for SimonK?)
Can you confirm that the TX and RX are bound?
Have you assigned an "Arm" switch in the "modes tab" of BetaFlight? Are you getting movement of the sliders in the "receiver tab"? Have you tried to run the motors through the "motors tab" in BF?
If you can post screenshots of the Configuration Tab, Modes Tab and Ports Tab, this will help narrow down the problem to whether it's a software configuration error or hardware failure... Remember the BF pages do scroll down, so we will need screenshots of all the data on those pages.
Also if you can provide the links to the product pages where you purchased your components, there are a lot of cloned products in the hobby, these links will provide us with some proper clarity on your hardware.

388 For Simon K, you have to set ESC protocol to PWM. You likely have it on the default Oneshot.

388 23-Feb-2018, 12:42 AM (This post was last modified: 23-Feb-2018, 01:08 AM by voodoo614.) Whether it is fast enough or not doesn't matter. You don't have a choice. Simon K has pretty much been dead for at least a year. If you are just beginning, I doubt you will notice the difference.
Now that you know, the next time you buy ESC, look for BLHELI S or BLHELI 32.

24 Just wanted to confirm that it is the ESC protocol that you have changed to PWM and not the Receiver protocol. These 2 protocols are different and you can still run a PWM signal for ESC's with SBUS or PPM RX protocol.
Just thought that you may have changed the wrong setting in BF which is why you are no longer getting movement in the Receiver tab.

0 I figured it out. After I switched the esc to pwm for some reason it switched my serial port from 3 to 1. After I resolved that issue everything is going swimmingly. Thx for all the help.
