More tinyhawk questions
#1
Heya guys!
Yet another question about Tinyhawk freestyle's. I am looking at this battery at the moment and it does a ph2.0 connection as a 2s battery. The new th3 freestyle uses dual ph2.0 connections. This battery goes to one ph2.0 connection. Would I just jump the battery connection on the other pin so I could use this battery? Its the same specs as dual 1s cells. What yall think? In the long run I might continue with 1s. This is just a shower thought btw.

That’s a weird little battery, and you’re likely to run into an amp draw limitation if you try to pull too much power through that ph2.0 connector- which could mean loss of performance, heat, or in worse case, fire.

But yeah, given that the TH takes two 1s batteries in a serial connection, you would just need to jump/short the other connector.

Personally, I’d just slap an xt30 on the quad and the battery, but, to each their own.
Dangerous operations.

Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

As stated .. yes.. just “jump” the other plug..
I know Emaxs 650 1s lipos have a great reputation.. this one is a paper weight.. I THINK they sent these out in the Tinyhawk “S” if memory serves me… the THFreestyle is a friggn awesome little ripper.. mine has been “updated / repaired” so much the battery strap is the only original part..
The XT-30 connector swap comes with controversy… some say the added amp draw is to much for the AIO..
