Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to share a little trick I learned from one of the local shop owners.  You can shed some weight by removing the circular polarized antenna on the QX90 vtx and replace it with a monopole.  All you need is 1 inch of wire and solder it on the signal of the antenna (do not ground the wire).  I also added some "goop" glue to secure the antenna in place.

Of course it will not be as good as the stock antenna, but it's not like you'll be flying the qx90 over a long distance anyway.  Besides after a few good crashes that stock antenna will look like a dog's chew toy.
