A new build for this article with the frame of at Moka, the Simplex 155.
This is the little brother of the Simplex 215 which we mentioned here https://pimousse.be/index.php/2016/11/26/simplex-moka-build-custom-skin/.
The concept remains the same with its raised rear engine and frame composed of two pieces of carbon T700 in 3mm thick.
The frame weighs 75g bare. The Simplex 155 allows propellers up to 3 inches.
Listing components:
frame:Moka Simplex 155
Flight card:F4 V5PRO Flight Controller 5.8G 40CH 0/25/200 / 600mW Switchable FPV TRANSMITTE w / 5V BEC OSD PDB
ESC:Favorite FVT LittleBee-20A Spring 20Ax4 4 in 1 BB2 Blheli_S 2-4S ESC with BEC 5V 12V media D-Shot
engines:RCX H1707 3200KV Micro Outrunner Brushless Motor
camera:Runcam Eagle 800TVL DC 5-17V FOV 130 ° Global WDR 16: 9 CMOS
RX:FrSky XM + Micro D16 SBUS
Antenna VTX:ANTENNA FL 5.8 TERRYBUILD - FLYER FACTORY
Accessories :Matek LED Tail Light with WS2512B Loud Buzzer
propellers:RACEKRAFT 3076 TCS bladed
Editing:
The assembly began with a cable protection engines using high density braid.
The cables will be maintained at the frame by mini black colsons.
During the implementation of ESC 4 in 1, I decided to run the cables from below to avoid possible injury during a side crash.
The ESC will be configured under the protocol DShot 600.
The choice fell on a pro v5 F4 with integrated VTX. Time will tell if the component is reliable and more practical.
Here also how the wire and adjust the VTX:
Front face
rear
For the VTX, here the frequency table.
For the top flat, I use the same principle of protection.
A very nice accessory, which will move almost hair cell at the rear is H LED with buzzer.
For this build, I use the XT30. The XT60 not passing this card. Most LIPO 4S in less than 1000mAh, are XT30. That's good!
Once the assembly is finished you can pass the tests.
On balance, once assembled and tested. 195g all wet!
Video :
CONCLUSION:
The Simplex 155 is very nice to assemble and will slip into your carefree backpack. It meets a demand of products by users Moka, namely, an original mini and that sums up the philosophy of the manufacturer. "Strength, speed, and value"
It certainly offer flights by long sessions, but you will satisfy your desires to steal immersion and everywhere. See for components based on your needs and your desires.
Good flights!
