3 Last week I got my Mobula 6 HD in the mail and took it for a few flights and crashes. Over the weekend I took it out and about 4 times in a row it just decided to fall out of the air and I got the RX Loss warning on my OSD. Took it out later that evening and no problems whatsoever. Last night, my very first flight I got the RX loss and crashed again. All of these times, the quad was no more than 20-30 feet away.
It also seems like the RSSI drops pretty heavily - I start out at around mid 70's and when I get 20-30 feet away it'll drop as low as 35-40. I'm half tempted to solder one of my spare XM+ receivers into it to see if I still have a problem.
Is this normal for these whoops? I see people on Youtube flying across a park out of the box.

20 Mobula 6 hasn't got good range with the spi receiver but it shouldn't failsafe at 30 feet.
I am expecting a Mobula 6 HD soon. I plan to install a XM and transfer it to a 75mm frame.

Hm...that's a good idea. I may try that! Would be nice to run my Tinyhawk 1S batteries because the ones that come with the Mobula barely last me two minutes.
My main issue with this whoop (aside from the failsafes) is the camera is way too exposed. I put a ding in the lens after like two light crashes. Fortunately it doesn't affect the video quality.

20 Got the idea from Nick Burn's video. More flight time and thrust with the bigger props.

3 So I've got the new frame, new props and the XM+ fits like a glove (the pads on this thing are freaking tiny and the 5V is in a very hard to reach spot).
Flies great, but I seem to be getting an occasional blip where the throttle will cut out for a split second - the quad will drop but throttle will kick back in before it hits the ground. I'm going to try to resolder the 5V - I'm just afraid I'm going to melt one of the motor ports, even with my thin solder tip.
