So, I have my MinimOSD connected to my Kombini FC and VTX.  I can connect to MinimOSD via the GUI using the Kombini passthrough.  When I use the 'restart' option in the GUI everything shows up as expected/programmed on my video.  However, when I pull all power and power up the quad there seems to be an alignment issue as i can just see the bottom of my OSD text right at the top of the screen - however this text should be at the bottom of the screen.  If I leave the quad powered on but pull the VTX power to just power cycle the VTX/OSD I don't get any OSD.

Anyone had this before?

have you set PAL/NTSC correctly on the OSD to match that on your camera?

It's set to auto, and when it does work, it shows PAL detected correctly.

I'll play a bit more this evening. Few things are different like my old FC was running cleanflight and new is running betaflight. Noticed there are different flags for each in the config.h file so I'll update that and try again.

If the image is working correctly and it's just the text, can you not move them up in positions in the configurator?

Probably but that' would be a hack.  I'd like to understand what's wrong so as to avoid the problem in future.  I think it might be related to the FC but need to do some experimentation.

I have an odd-ish setup due to the camera requiring 12v.  I have FC regulated 12v > camera and VTX and I'm taking 5v for the minim OSD from the VTX which has its own 5v regulator.  I wonder if it's a result of using the 5v feed from the VTX for minimOSD rather than from the Kombini 5v regulator.  I don't think so, I have ground continuity at all points from the battery up to the VTX & OSD - but I could have done something stupid

It seems to work fine when removed from the copter (with the VTX still attached) and running via FTDI.  Going to try updating the firmware to the latest ensuring I set the FC firmware setting to Betaflight.

Got it working, seemed great. Somehow it was setup to turn the OSD off with the flight mode switch in a certain position, and I had been testing with my RC TX off. Turned the RC TX on and it started working!

So I got on with calibrating ESCs etc, and now it's stopped working again! Don't seem to be able to flash it now or connect to the configurator via FTDI. Weird, will try again tonight.
