Microphone volume adjustment?
#1
Hi everyone!

I have the banggood microphone that Oscar referenced in his blog a few weeks ago.  I have been running it for a few months already, and it works great.  I installed a headphone volume control on my goggles (Quanum DIY V2) so that it's not screaming in my ears, and I can listen at a manageable level.

However, since I have multiple devices that I want feed the audio to (headphones, DVR, etc), I would like to adjust the volume level at the microphone on the quad.  I'm guessing that this could be done by putting a resistor on the white signal line between the microphone and the VTX, but I have no idea of what value resistor I should start with?  Optimally, I would use a potentiometer but again, I have no idea of what resistance values to use.

Any ideas?  Is there a better solution?

Thanks!

Matt

I would rather lower the volume at your speaker side... because if you lower the volume on the mic, the noise will take over and it will be harder to hear your quad... get a earbud that has volume adjust maybe...

I actually not sure what value of resistor you should use, I seen people suing 200ohm... maybe something around that? alternatively I recommend using a potentiometer like this max 1Kohm should do it.
