Micro Swift - a 5.6g CCD FPV Camera
#1
The Micro Swift from Runcam is probably the lightest and smallest CCD FPV camera you can find on the market Smile
Perfect for micro quads as well as larger light weight racing builds.
This could well be the new standard too for FPV cameras!

Same performance as the Swift, but over 6g lighter.

Spec:
  • 1/3″ SONY Super HAD II CCD

  • 600TVL

  • 2.1mm Lens (M8)

  • PAL/NTSC

  • Input voltage: DC 5V-36V

  • Weight: 5.6g

  • 19mm*19mm*19mm

Here is my review if you want to see some testing in the future:

Wow impressive. I'm waiting your feedback. Do we need to send to you liquid tape? Smile

Now thats an upgrade Big Grin I wonder if that weight reduction only comes from decasing the mini and using a lighter lens. Hope you'll compare the boards side by side ^^

*cough* suggestion *cough*

Wow! A truly micro sized CCD camera!

I really hope it's as good as we all want it to be. If it is, I can see rather a lot of micro CMOS cameras heading for the recycling bin.

At last a partially interchangeable solution Big Grin

Do you have some insight on the final price?

Yeah thats sexy Wink Im sold. Big Grin

Does the micro's lense fit in the mini's case? It'd keep the pcb covered and still save some weight over the Runcam Mini, in theory. Have some cake and eat it too haha Wink

Micro and mini are the same cam, weight saving is the lens and case. They are not interchangeable though, because the IR filter of the Mini is on the sensor, while that of the Micro is on the lens.

Update:

Swift Mini and Micro PCB/Sensor are not interchangeable...
on the Mini, the IR filter is applied on the sensor directly, while that of the Micro is on the lens.
