Micro Scisky MX Naze32 1S/2S Flight Control Board
#1
This Micro Scisky Naze32 board is basically a F1 flight controller with an integrated 7ch DSM2 receiver.

Good thing is there is a normal 2S version (powered by 5V-10V) or 1S version (3.3V - 4.2V), so it's perfect for micro quad.

However do noted that this is a brushless board for brushless motors, i.e. it doesn't have FET's on it to power brushed motors. I got one and thought it was a Brushed board so can't really use it... lol

The item name is very misleading. I almost bought it while looking for my micro build parts.

What is different about this and the regular Micro SciSky board or the Quanum Pico? Just form factor?

it doesn't have FET on it so it can't drive brushed motors.

I've dug around on the web and found a lot of information about this board.  It's used in Oversky Super-X quads (1S configuration, sold by Oversky and HK) and Hermit Micro FPV quads (2S configuration, sold by getfpv).  The board can be purchased pre-configured as 1S or 2S from Oversky, OR it can be modified by the user to change from one to the other.  Oscar's photo above shows configured for 1S.

Here's a picture from Oversky showing more detail:

It's hard to see unless you look carefully, but you change the solder pads (3 on the left, and one on the right) to change from 1S to 2S and vice versa.

A couple of other interesting things:
1. Note the solder pads at the bottom:  It can be configured for an external Rx by removing the attached Rx and the jumpering the pads appropriately.
2. No PDB is required with this board (when using the right ESC's).  With a 3A MX-3A (or MU-3A or MI-3A), the plugs take care of signal, power, and ground.

It's an interesting little FC, and thanks to Oscar, I will try it out on a micro brushless build.
(Oh yeah, it runs cleanflight too).
Thanks Oscar!
