well there is a weak point of this construction, look at the crystal.. it is standing on 2 legs and it is not supported with any touch of glue..
assuming that you would use it as gently as i'm (smack! Crash! ooops that was a tree?!)

such weakpoint will fall off and after 2-3 crashes it will be useless.
so as you will get one ensure that this "tube" is glued to something and will not fall off due to vibration.
All the best

Lol!
This is exactly how gently I would use it! Also just thinking about how long an SD card is going to last and if it might get corrupted during a crash or maybe even just from vibration..?

hmmm sd cards in my experience are quite durable... and they have survived (so far) every crash (including water landing)

few things that im curious:
- does it record on power or you need to "click" record
- does it remember the last power setting or always you need to cycle from 0mw to ie 200
- image quality

My SD card recently stopped working, it was a cheapie though.

According to the manual - it starts recording as soon as the SD card is put in, press button to stop then press button to start again and it does 'remember' power selection.

as for image quality, we shall see!
Pun intended!
