Micro brushless are taking off...
#1
I've had a growing urge to upgrade from my Tiny whoop (Blade Inductrix) to a brushless version, that isn't DSM and that has a proper FC that can handle Betaflight.

It seems that there's loads going on in this space with several major players launching new <100mm brushless quads so here's what I've found so far:

(I've also focused on those frames that have ducts, as this will be an indoor flyer for me and dont want to be smashing up the house)

Firstly a couple of BNF's that are due to release soon...

FuriousFPV Moskito 70 (DSM or Frksy) BNF Eachine Aurora 90 (DSM or Frsky) BNF I've also been looking at a couple of self build specs:

AXC Halo (Recommended Setup) DIY Eachine Aurora 90 (Recommended Setup) DIY
QAV210 - LUX FC - LB 20A ESC - Cobra 2205 2300
QAV210 - LUX FC - DYS XS20A ESC - DYS SE2205 2300
Alien 5" - KISS FC - KISS 24A ESC - Lumenier 2206 2350

RotoriousFPV also has some new entries:
Speck 80 BL (I've got one of these - waiting on the 1103 motors to arrive)
Crook 110 BL
And a brand new design, the RIP 120

You'll need to join the FB group to see (and get these) for now: https://www.facebook.com/groups/RotoriousFPVGroup
but they will eventually (Jack says a couple of weeks) be for sale at http://rotoriousfpv.com/

Thanks Slowcotty, I should have said that I've focused on those frames with ducts as I intend to use it around the house and especially with the increased power. I don't want to be smashing up the house or going through lots of props  Cool

The 3D printed ducts might work but my experience with 3D printed motor protectors is that they break easily (only barely less frustrating than removing mud from motors).

also those extra 20mm are too much for me Wink I just love the size of the Tiny whoop!

The moskito coming from furious fpv is a very close clone of the doinker. These frames are 3d printed. You can find them to print for yourself on thingverse. Or look up winder wonder works 5k buy a printed frame. Google, the short crayon doinker for a parts list. I love mine on 7500kv 3s,it's a little monster.
