So, I've built it! Yay for me!

check it!

Though I really need a good battery for it, its pretty heavy with all the stuff on it.
Its flashed with betaflight. I have a drifting problem, after some time it starts to drift to the right...

The drawback on the frame is that its hard to plug and unplug usb cable, as there is nothing keeping the FC in place.
the Scisky could really use a few mounting holes :/ Every time I'm unpluggin the usb I'm worried ill pull the FC out of the frame...

Also, the motors I've bought have really short leads, so that can be a problem...

Nothing like building it, to see what things could be better....
I've already started drawing an improved frame that will have the brackets for the FC, replacing fixed stand-offs with nylon ones, removing material where it should be removed so its lighter, etc...

I had a look at that frame on thingiverse, but found it a bit too heavy to my liking Smile

what's your total weight?

i don't know, dont have a precise scale... will use the kitchen one when i get home from work...
the frame I'm designing will be based on this one, but will be integral for all the things i have here so it should be much lighter, I'm planning on atleast 40% frame weight reduction

BTW: The VTX doesn't come on  E band (Boscam) and to switch it to E band you have to de-solder the lid, and connect two pads like in this picture at position 1

i managed to do it by soldering a long wire across the pins, and then trimming the extra wire.... took me an hour, a magnifying glass and helluva good lighting, but i made it work Cool
