118 I would not advise you connect to VCC pad as you can fry it with a lipo larger than 4S.
Best power it via the 9v pad as it seems to have a 9v BEC onboard.

118 OSD should not be an issue since all you need is a full UART on the FC.

786 Yes, the Mamba F722 APP MK1 FC is fully compatible with a DJI Air Unit. The onboard 9V BEC is rated to 3A which is more than sufficient to power the Air Unit.
There have been reports of issues with getting the Custom Betaflight OSD working in the DJI FPV Goggles with some of the UARTs on some of the Mamba FCs, but UART5 is reported to work OK, so I would advise that you connect the MSP UART connections from the Air Unit to UART5 on the FC rather than UART2 as shown in the diagram you posted.

0 Thank you all for clarifications.
So, I guess the only difference between F722 APP and DJI versions - is that DJI has plugnplay input for air unit.
Great, will make by next HD build on this controller!

0 11-Dec-2021, 03:06 PM (This post was last modified: 11-Dec-2021, 03:07 PM by Dungfly21.) Cheers Snow. I had a problem with an f722 mini not showing OSD in dji goggles.
I had a vista connected to UART 2, the default VTX UART. When I saw your post I tried UART 4.
Problem solved. Many thanks.
