06-Dec-2016, 07:11 PM (This post was last modified: 07-Dec-2016, 03:49 PM by Tom BD Bad.) Still waiting for my E010's, so of course they release this! 06-Dec-2016, 11:32 PM That's a good price for this setup. however I am not sure about the camera mount though, looks like it won't hold long. 07-Dec-2016, 04:05 AM (This post was last modified: 07-Dec-2016, 04:06 AM by Tom BD Bad.) Found a bit more info - Apparently the E010c is using the same stock motors as the original E010 they have just upped the C rating of the stock 150mAh battery from 30 to 45c. So in response, someone pointed out this with special sauce (17500kv) motors and 35c 200mah battery for $60 bargain! 07-Dec-2016, 05:18 PM In your case, Tom - if you're planning on getting a Devo transmitter - I'd pass on this. With or without the 4-1 module - you can get a "Beecore board" and get much better control. It would also be a step towards full sized quads in that you could fully customize the PIDs, fly angle/horizon/rate ... get airmode etc... the beecore will run betaflight. In that case: Beecore: 31 Motors (16? kv ... not 17): 11 Frame: 2.89 Props: 1.99 Batteries: 15 Camera: http://www.tmart.com/Boldclash-F-01-5-8G...52293.html Camera: http://www.banggood.com/Eachine-Fatbee-F...mds=search ~22 Total: $83 No doubt the other one is cheaper. I'd also recommend different batteries than what is listed above. You might be able to get away with those 260mah ones you got, honestly. They'll be a little heavy. Anyhoos, here's that setup (with these batteries). I made the top .... from this. This was the first flight - it was very GUSTY ... clearly struggles a bit ... bit it's not meant for outdoors really. Indoors it's a blast! Where you see it hit the ground on the long decent - there was a ton of wind which this quad just can't handle at all.... 08-Dec-2016, 06:30 AM They do a BNF with an F3 EVO board too, ordering from supplier RTF version $39 BNF F3 EVO board w/native DSM2 $45 BNF F3 EVO board (Support External Receiver for FrSky) $45 RTF version with EV800 goggles $99 They also offer the secret sauce 615 motors in the 17500KV and (insane?) 19000KV, set of 4 for $3.75 of course minimum order quantity of 50! 08-Dec-2016, 07:16 PM (08-Dec-2016, 06:30 AM)Tom BD Bad Wrote: They do a BNF with an F3 EVO board too, ordering from supplier The motors linked above are 16kv i think? They seem GREAT! Honestly not sure I need more. THAT BEING SAID! I did order 2 sets of 17,5s and 5 sets of 18kv 09-Dec-2016, 07:26 AM (08-Dec-2016, 07:16 PM)CesiumSalami Wrote: I did order 2 sets of 17,5s and 5 sets of 18kv Look forward to seeing them tearing round that beautiful house, y'know the one whose porch your always sitting on... Dont the people who live there get sick of you buzzing about with your quads while loitering outside their front door!? 09-Dec-2016, 06:41 PM Apparently brick is an excellent noise insulator Just hoping I don't get it stuck on the roof! 13-Dec-2016, 09:36 PM Is the BNF the same as the RTF? Has anyone gotten a Taranis/etc to work with the RTF or maybe even their dinky controller to bind with a frsky quad? Asking for a friend. Not really, I am asking for myself as it would be nice to use their controller with my Eachine x73 so all my whoop is in one self contained box and I don't need a Taranis sized transmitter. 13-Dec-2016, 10:06 PM (13-Dec-2016, 09:36 PM)newts Wrote: Is the BNF the same as the RTF? The BNF narrows it down to FrSKY or Spektrum... http://www.crazepony.com/products/micro-fpv.html 14-Dec-2016, 06:02 AM @newts - A devo TX with 'deviation firmware' I think works with the stock receiver board, you can add the 3 or 4-in-1 RF module to the devo TX which will bind (as I understand it) to almost anything... Be aware that the RTF version doesn't have F3 EVO Flight Controller, so no full accro, PID tuning etc just a button for flips, I can't even find any info on if there is 2 or 3 speed settings for the RTF... 14-Dec-2016, 06:10 AM (This post was last modified: 14-Dec-2016, 06:17 AM by Tom BD Bad.) Not sure if its the same spec. but for their 90mm BNF lite quad they say that "The receiver is connected to the fc board with 3 wires (PPM/5V/GND).Unsolder them and solder in your preferred micro receiver." I guess it could be the same for the FrSky external receiver here... |
