Maiden Flight X220s - Thoughts on high pitch noise?
#1
Video
Hey everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself and show a maiden flight of my first racing quad Tongue.
I'm very new to quad flying, and I recently got myself an x220s RTF with i6x, prebound (I'm not rational  Tongue)

My first flight (few seconds just a few mm off the ground) however, my quad made some serious noise, and I later found out that one of the propellers wasn't tight enough, and was rotating independently of the motor.

It left a mark, but I tightened it again to <1mm gap, and since, it flies decently in low throttle/hovering. Just makes some high pitch/rattling noise, and I'm not sure if it's the prop slipping, or what! It seems to be coming from the rear left of the quad. Here's the video:

I just wanted some opinions, whether this noise I'm hearing is normal, and if not, what it is?

Thanks so much,
DB

I watched your video before reading your tread, first thing I thought of is loose propeller nut. You should not be able to spin the prop around shift with your hands. If so, then tighten more. Otherwise, go for a short flight and recheck.
