in I gained inspiration from a lumenier led taillight / PDB. It seemed perfect with all those 5v pads plus some serious lights.

Thanks to Painless360 I wired vtx smartaudio directly to crossfire. Can adjust vtx from radio without a FC!


I had to cut a hole in the back of the shell for antennas and making the camera with a quick plug to get in and out of the internals. Routing the headlights was a pita. Overall it now goes together and apart pretty quickly now that I have a system.

Heat is an issue. It’s melting the hot glue I used to monkey patch the camera :-) All those accessories are dramatically killing battery time even running after 25mw vtx.

I thought fpv rc cars would be an advantage but it’s kinda crazy hard. Depth perception is pretty much gone, hit a few curbs that seemed to come out of nowhere. The bouncing makings for a really jarring view. I will say the camera / vtx combo is great image quality. Really impressed
