Looking to pass a 3s to a good home
#1
If anyone here flys 3s batteries (I am guessing this is rare) let me know... I'll ship one to you. (USA only... sorry to other countries)

Its a Turnigy Nano-Tech 1300mAh 45-90C. So good stuff for a 3s... It's not the defective one from my other thread, that one has been recycled. It only has only been through 2 cycles so far and each time it was well cared for. I am flying 4s batteries almost exclusively and I've found that the difference in performance is so dramatic that I shouldn't fly 3s batteries... they make me crash!

Here is the decision on who to send them to:

Either the first person to post a video of anything you did with 3s batteries... even if it's not that special... you'll get priority... (note: goggles DVRs or ground footage from a phone count!)
Just in case nobody has any videos with 3s batteries... the first person to post that they want it without a video would be my second choice...
I'll send it to the video person as soon as they post, or the person without by 4/1...

I'll get the address from the receiver after (Via PM only please... I don't wan't you to share yoru info publicly)  and the battery will be shipped ground to avoid some of the new rules around lipos...

Also, I'll cover shipping... just because, why not?

At first I was thinking I'd sell it for half price but then I realized... it's too much of a hassle to collect money, there are probably only going to be maybe 2 or 3 people interested, and it'd be more fun to give it away.

Now I am more worried that no one will want it than anything... but we'll see!

It'll do more good for someone who is flying 3s than it will me. I've got 3 4s'es and 2 more on the way and this one 3s.... The amount of difference for me is enough to bend my props (as I've learned the hard way... luckily I am using tough props)... it's more fun to give it away than to keep trying to use it.

As no one else is doing anything, I'll post my 3s video.

Lol. I totally thought you were going to fly through the window of that VW until the last minute when I realized it wasn't rolled down.

PM sent asking for address for where to ship to.

On it's way to a new home tomorrow... I'll try to get it out in the morning, if not then I'll send it out in the afternoon. I'll shoot you a tracking number when I have one.

This was as fun as I hoped it would be! I hope you crash less than I did with it lol. Maybe I'll post a GIF of my crash Smile

Here is what happens when I am thrown off by the difference in the characteristics... The ground seemed to just jump up and attack me out of no where! Such a heartless ground.

There are times I feel all confident like "yeah... I know what I am doing here!" and then I get reminded... no one escapes the n00b crashes. It's tough enough keeping throttle control with the difference in real life characteristics on one amount of power... No need to make it tougher on myself.
