Looking for best props for EMAX RS2205 2300KV
#1
For Emax rs2205 2300KV motors, what is the best props for efficiency and performance?

Tried the DAL 5040 tris, I really like the response, but not the lack of thrust, and it runs pretty inefficient.
5045bn v2 seem to be the compromise, until skills develop. Looking at specs and tests, it seems 5040 gemfans are the ones? Are there any similar props to these, which are a bit more crash resistant?

I think DAL T5045BN Tri's are more efficient than bullnose, a little less thrust but great control, not durable though.

I prefer the Gemfan 5045 BN which is similar to the Dal BN 5045 v2. That's about a 55 amp total amp draw on a punch out which is very efficient.

Triblades are historically inefficient. For example a 5040x3 has always made around the same thrust as GF BN 5045 while pulling more amps. It pulls the same amps as the HQ BN 5045 which is a very aggressive prop...

I also prefer Gemfan 5045 bullnose on 2300KV motors, i get longer flight time on them compared to 5040/5045 triblades, but similar thrust/response.

I love the HQ5045 BN but the TJ5045 DAL Tri's are what I actually prefer for all round flying..weird huh?

I don't have those motors, but I love kingkong 5045bn props. As efficient as any bullnose, but they are cheap and punchy. Just ordered some Dal t5045bn tris that I'm looking forward to trying.

Kingkong 5045BN are really good props, cheap and durable.
