Looking for a complete Nano/Micro FPV build
#1
I am not new to quads nor racing quads. I have a few quads already, racers, micro and a proper camera-quad.

Obviously I'm new here on this forum but looking through the posts on the first couple of pages it seems most of the people building here use their own 3D printers. Sadly I'm not one of those lucky enough to own one and I live in Norway wich makes parts expensive to ship to my place.

Now what I'm really after is a quad as small as possible, but thats possible to run cleanflight/betaflight and/or Librepilot. I'm looking for a full kit that I can bind to my Taranis X9D+ and feed video to my Fatshark Attitude goggles. The point is to be able to fly a proper quad in very small areas. I don't need any fancy sensors, just need to be able to self level and normal rate mode.

Anyone got suggestions for a full DIY kit, or even a finished build? Maybe some of you already sell kits like these? I really dont have a budget but would be nice to stay around $100-150.

Anyways, was hoping you guys here might be able to help me with this Smile

Here's one for $110 (without frame): http://shop.hovership.com/3dfly-micro-quad-kit/

Oscar reviewed this (with build) at: https://oscarliang.com/3dfly-micro-quad-...hovership/

And he sells frames reasonably  Big Grin : https://oscarliang.com/oskie-micro-frame-v1/

I should mention that Hovership also sells the frame they show in the ad for just $5 extra. (Also FPV not included)

Yep, that's the same.   And you can DIY an FPV setup for it with some pretty cheap parts from Banggood. (and they do free shipping  Big Grin )

Can I fit stronger motors on this? I already have two hubsans and the motors just feel weak. Also have two ladybirds which are a lot more agile, so just wondering how high one can go on agillity/engine strenght on these small boards.

I have a RotorX Atom that is so much fun to fly. It only weighs 145g with a 450 mAh 3s. I built mine for a little more than you budget @ $190. Here's a place in the UK that sells them

This one looks quite alright. What parts did you use in your build? Cleanflight FC?

I icecream sandwiched an afro naze32 mini with an x4r. 1106kv brushless with little bee 20amps. Those motors with the rx3020 props are suppose to handle 4s. Haven't tried that because when I was building it no one had 4s that small in stock. How ever I'm not sure if I'd care to fly this with that much power anyway.

I think the strongest motors in that format are from micro motor warehouse https://micro-motor-warehouse.com/products/cl-0820-17
