Lizard95

I am considering purchasing the Lizard95:
https://www.banggood.com/Anniversary-Spe...rehouse=CN

It looks like a pretty solid micro quad, but before I drop the $$$, are there any caveats to be aware of? I was poking around the web and finding all of these great reviews of the Lizard95 from UAVfutures and other big reviewers. All of them say that the Lizard95 is incredibly fast, but has a not so good CMOS camera. For $100, the price seems reasonable. You get the quad, some spare props, and the 550mah 3s lipo. Has anyone had a bad experience with this? Is it really as fast as the videos say that they are? Thanks! Big Grin

Yes, it really is a fast micro and it set the bar for a while. I have flown mine for months and I do not have any complaints, though the camera really does sort of suck when compared to Foxeer or RunCam offerings. For that, it is a solid quad and I feel like the money I spent on it was well worth it.

There are faster micro quads in this size (90 to 100 mm) that are faster at this point, but the Lizard will most certainly hold its own.

I started flying Tattu 650 3S packs as they are only a few grams heavier than stock and have some extra capacity. It is the only quad I fly stunts with.

Nice! I just got a Foxeer Arrow Micro from GetFPV. It is the same dimensions as a RunCam Swift Micro, but like half the price! I have 3D printed some mounts for it to be mountable on the Lizard95. Thanks for the quick reply! I just wanted to know from somebody that this quad was not garbage!

I would love to see the camera mod! My fly buddy (QuadStyles) has one and just recently damaged the vtx. We jammed one of my extra AIOs from a brushed build in it for now, to keep him flying. But it needs a more permanent solution. Preferably in the 19mm form factor as the micro Swift ect.
Overall its a great tiny quad!
