I've just discover that on the instagram account of XY.FPV

It's a prototype from Gens Ace Germany.

Neat idea! But Im concerned about its durability, looks to be a hard mounted plug that could be broken from an impact (is pcb extended past the form factor of the cells?)

Friend told me about this, first thought i had was that it's in an inconvenient place, and sticking out way too far.

And in these pictures it looks even worse than i imagined. Smile

Its an awesome idea. The implementation needs some work though.
Id rather have super short balanced leads and an extension for when it needs to be connected to a charger/charging plate.

Me too. In my experience balance leads are always in the way when being used, but never long enough when i charge, especially on parallel boards lol
My solution would be to just switch sides and tuck the plug under main battery lead. Or rotate the plug 90°andd tuck it under the tape with the rest of the circuitry. I'd feel less exposed then at least Wink

also like the idea. but I think that the protruding plug would get in the way. It should be flush on all sides and the balance lead has to be a bit longer for my taste. The main lead is 90deg of to the other side…could get hard to plug on a balance board.

Much better.

Banggood won't ship LiPo batteries to where I live though. Sad

Are you sure? They send to Norway and the tracking number is Swedish...

Ordered one of the gaoneng batteries. I have been happy with gaoneng so far except the xt60 plug seems to not handle the current from my quad (100amp shouldn't be any problem). The negative connector has melted a bit on all of them

Nope. As soon as I look at any battery listing on BG and they see that I have a Swedish IP address, the page changes to say "We cannot ship to your country.".

I've heard before that they're happy to ship to Norway. I can't understand it.
