0 hello everyone,
im just rying to grasp my 1s lipo batteries for performance. i was wondering what people are getting to ir numbers for their whoop packs. also was wondering what everyone charges and discharges rates they are doing , i.e. amps wise. i coming from a car backround and i used to cahrging and discharging at 30amps plus. so these whoop batts are playing tricks on my mind.
thank you for feed back

But regardless if you are into train, plane or automobile, lipos (Lithium Polymer) battery are charged at the rate of 1C. And discharge rate is specified on the battery. Usually 75-100C for quadcopter.
1C means for every 1000 mah capacity, you can charge or discharge at 1 amp. For example, you have a 500 mah pack rated 100C. Regardless of discharge C rating, you can only charge at 1C, or 0.5 Amp. But for that same pack, you can discharge at 100C x 0.5 = 50amp.
Not sure what kind of battery you were using in RC cars, but a charge rate of 30amp was definitely not LiPos.

0 yes voodoo, i do charge my 7.2 lipo at 30amps as well a discharge at 30amps as well and the ir on them are 1 ohm. and they are fast. seems like all my quad stuff has high ir but run good. whoop batteries are even higher. i do charge them at .2amp and discharge at .6 but was wondering what people are geting for ir on their whoop or 4s packs. at 10ohms ir on a 7.2v 100c pack you can see how much slower the car is.
