6 Does anyone know of a freeware program that can do some VERY basic editing of video? My better half is looking for something super simple to snip out portions of some videos she's been taking. The basic MS "Movies/TV" app keeps spitting out errors when she tries to clip parts of a video so I thought there might be something else that's cheap and easy.

51 You could try Avidemux. It can be a bit twitchy around file formats, but it's free and relatively simple.
