Leopard Power 1300 4S 75C Lipo
#1
Bernard over at https://www.multirotorshop.com.au was kind enough to send me a Leopard Power 1300mAh 4S 75C lipo to test.

[Image: Screen%20Shot%202016-08-04%20at%201.29.2...zhldgs.png]

I tested it along side a Bonka 1300mAh 4S 75C and a Tattu 1300mAh 4S 75C lipo.

Bench testing to me is a waste of time, I like to see and feel the differences in flight.

So, with my QAV 210 I took to the skies.

I tried hard to keep the same pace flying all 3 batteries and at the end of it I have to say the Leopard Lipo performed very very well.

1. Bonka 1300 wins out in my flight tests.  Flight time was 3 minutes 47 seconds before lipo alarm came on and did not suffer in the way of sag at all.

2. Leopard 1300 takes second place. flight time was 3 minutes 40 seconds before lipo alarm came on, and I did start to notice a little sag towards the end.

3. Tattu 1300 came in third place, which, to be honest was surprising to me, flight time was 3 minutes 23 seconds before lipo alarm came on and did sag quickley ..so much so I had a premature landing some 40 feet away from me.

Now, in saying all that, one could say my testing has no real value, and to some that may be the case, But my flying style as is everyone else's is different to others and thus your own results may differ.

Note: All 3 Batteries were brand new and all charged at the same time.

So, in conclusion.

The Bonka 1300mAh 75C 4S costs  $49.80 (Australian)

The Leopard Power 1300mAh 75C 4S costs $30 (Australian

The Tattu 1300 75C 4S costs $43.00 (Australian )

( all prices correct at time of writing and the Bonka and Leopard pricing sourced from https://www.multirotorshop.com.au and Tattu sourced elsewhere)

The Leopard Power Lipo is excellent value for money. Smile

Of course , like all testing I shall re visit the Leopard after several cycles to see how well it stacks up.

Now, the specs

I think your flying can a good benchmark, because you seem to love long fast runs where current is relatively constant. Maybe you could update after a few more runs if the feeling was the same? Also How old were other packs?
Find me on Youtube and Instagram. I currently fly: DRC Aura, NOX5R, Minimalist 112 and drive a scrap RC car

the other packs are about 2 months old, but had never been charged, still at storage charge at time of test, and then all 3 charged at the same time.

Batteries over $30 are just too much for me Smile
I use the $20 Dronelab 4S 1500mah and they does everything I want to do Smile
I also tried the Turnigy Graphene 1300mAh 4S 65C and they are also brilliant, which is only $25.

$30 AUD is equivlent to $22 USD, which makes them roughly the same price as the Drone Labs.

Very reasonable.  They've got some good prices on other stuff too.  Unfortunately, no shipping to NY, USA.   Confused  (At first I thought it might be just lipos, but only thing I get with anything in cart is "in store pick-up").  Hey Biggles, got a spare bedroom?...... Big Grin

Yep, have a couple of spare bedrooms, but you would hate this place..wide open spaces, great beaches, awesome flying spots.

If you do want something from that store, let me know via PM and I shall see what I can do with Bernard from the shop.

well yes, wide open spaces..and is clear to me now Grasshopper how little you know of ninja bushes.  These ninja bushes are highly trained stealthy quad killers.  Wide open spaces are their preferred battleground, they are patient, they know when you are one a good run and then ATTACK !!!!!!!!.

It is all over in the blink of an eye, you retrieve your quad and sometimes if you listen carefully you can almost hear the ninja laughter blowing through the air.

ninja bushes very rarely hide in obvious tree and woody areas as they know you will just fu*k it up all by yourself.

Yes, oh wise sensei.....I see the flawed logic in my thinking and now know why I have no ninja bushes on this side of the world......I just have the woody areas where I just fu*k it up by myself. : )

Hey, I'm the Guy from Leopard Power, would you mind to suggest us some rc companies which are looking for lipos?  We need to find cooperation.
