0 I'm not sure if this is the same for all FCs when running DShot but on the Radiance I cannot use an assignable LED strip while running DShot.
Is this common among all boards or just on the Radiance? Is there a workaround like using CLI to reassign the channel to a different port or ?

72 There are quite a few flight controllers that can't use programmable LEDs while using DShot. This is down to the fact that the LEDs must be updated at a high rate, just like the DShot signal and the MCU's DMA controller is used for this to ease the load.
As there are a limited number of DMA channels available, and there are restrictions as to what pins a DMA channel can be assigned to, many flight controllers just can't do everything at once.
Unless you absolutely must have DShot, switching to Multishot will give you your LEDs back and still allow you to run very fast loop times. I don't believe there is a way to use LEDs and DShot at the same time on this board, but then again, I don't have one myself.
