Lazy Labor Day Flying
#1
Fellows, short vid of yesterday's fun fly here in Panama.
Group is slowly growing. Yay!

I'm in the process of writing a "quick" review on my motors (SunnySky 2207s 2700kv). Finding the right pops/bat mix has been a daunting task.

Enjoy!

My friends convinced me of trying 4s today.
I was on 4045 bn gemfan props and 20A esc. No good.

I did a full throttle climb and killed an esc. Sad

These motors are Amp hungry, I might have to put some 30A ones...

Also, they like to kill batteries fast, I puffed 2 today just easy flying.

Anything on these motors above 4.0 pitch is suicide

What have you used on these high kv motors?

Still, loads of fun!

Funny story, the box was labeled with what I asked for but not the right motors, I installed them with only saying: " wow, these look kind of big"...

I blew 2 of my fist ESCs on the 2nd flight and my 2 spare ones in subsequent flights before I figured out something was wrong.

You know, too exited to get in the air...

Now I have 20A little bee.
