Last day of my runcam2 :(
#1
Later that day, last battery, in a slightly different place, i had a nasty failsafe and my beloved favourite quad fell from quite some height into a rocky valley... aside from the runcam this broke a bunch of other parts too so it will be out of order for quite a while. The final crash didn't get recorded either. Sad

Anyway here's my last video made from runcam2 material.

You never should fly your last battery. Instead, you should run out of batteries before you intend to do your last flight. lol.

Thanks Big Grin The cam is actually not the worst about it all (finally a reason to mount the rc3 that i had around for a while now Smile ) but breaking the old tiger motors hurt a lot more... I hopefully get some equal or even better motors in the end but it will take a while (hint: prototype 2307 2600kV super-lightweight Big Grin - friend works in a company that develops them).

PS: i also think i found out the reason for the failsafe - the way i had the dx6 antenna pointed (straight in flight direction) and the relative height of the quad probably resulted in the quad being in the worst possible spot i.e. the point where the transmitter signal is the weakest...
