KIWI.F4 Flight Controller + KIWI PDB from FlyingLemon
#31
The Kiwi V2 is finally available

Immediately visible improvements are:
- SD card slot
- Gyro closer to the center of the board
- Solder pads instead of thru holes and a new pad layout
- Bootloader button close to the edge of the board for easy access

And all the good features that were already in the V1 should still be available in the V2.

One is already on the way for my skitzo frame that's been sitting in the shelf waiting

I have Kiwi.F4 in my Skitzo frame, but that's the previous Kiwi.F4 version, it's my favourite copter, flies fantastic and zero noise on my gyro traces in blackbox.
Skitzo frame arms are very narrow, I was having difficulties to find ESCs that small, so in the end I installed 4-1 ESC at the bottom of the stack and didn't use the included Kiwi PDB, just had to connect signal wires directly to FC, it works perfect and my video is without noise and I didn't even use a low esr capacitor.

My other Kiwi.F4 v.1 is in Diatone GT2.

Now I'm ordering two more Kiwi.F4 version 2, great news about the SD card reader.
For me this is the best FC on the market, just that people don't know about it, more expensive than most FCs but it's a quality product.

You'll probably receive your Kiwi v.2 first, let us know if v2 is as good as v1.

Very clean wiring Tozes. The way that PDB integrates the ESCs signal wires is awesome Cool

It is awesome indeed, that's one of the reasons I like this FC so much as I'm a freak for tidy builds.
So far this is the only FC that ticks all my boxes and with the improvements on the v2 even more so

That's a really neat build, I like how there's no wasted space and at the same time it doesn't look cluttered.

I'm also building a Skitzo where I'll put the kiwi v2 which is on the way. Here's the thread: http://intofpv.com/t-qav-skitzo

And yes, the thickness of the arms on that frame makes it hard to mount the ESCs. I used RacerStar v2s and they're pretty much the same size as the arms so it worked out but I also considered the 4in1 before I had the change to try.

My Kiwi v2 arrived today, as usual from FlyingLemon the packaging was great and the photos don't make it justice but the quality of the PCB is outstanding. Will be using it to finish up my Skitzo build over the weekend so stay tuned

Hey, I'd like to share with you some good feedback about FlyingLemon support.
I got yet another Kiwi for a Chameleon build but and it turned out to have a defective OSD chip. I contacted FL describing the issue and they just shipped a new one the same day.
So big thumbs up for FlyingLemon!

It is likely 3.3v or 5v. So if you are not getting 5v, then you have your answer. Same thing applies to 3.3v.

To determine the pins, I would look for ground first. Then look for the lipo voltage. Output voltage should be one of the last two pins.
