#1
I am currently running KISS setup, but i have been hearing so many good things about Raceflight I am tempted to give it a try.
What do you guys think?

I had a RF build and Kiss build...I stuck with RF as IMO it is less picky about components and props etc...

Kiss in my opinion is very nice for acro footage-probably the best...but the stick feel is very 'light' and for racing I would not like it so much...

RF is both smooth and has a good stick feel...aligned with the fact you can run what motors you like and it feels good for racing and acro I prefer it overall...

hopefully the new FC and Raceflight 1 firmware will be next level...

I tried Raceflight last week and I was disappointed with how much work it was to get it to work.

In fact when trying to use their configurator to reverse a motor direction it bricked one of my friend's ESCs. We were told to wait for their new configurator to come out and then it should get easier. Until then I'll be avoiding it.

Also expect the lack of documentation in RF compared to betaflight.

Raceflight is a hassle to get running right. It still never seems to want to interface with my computer as easily as my BF setups. Drivers aside the biggest gripe I have with Raceflight is them taking OS code that's been worked on for years and are trying monitize it. Sure they are rewriting at lot of stuff but it's still easier to transpose something that's already written to suit your needs.

Right now all i fly is Raceflight, I love it!
Once you get past a learning curve it's very simple to tune and operate, not to mention performance, simply the best out there.

i've been trying out the new raceflight revolt flight controller for the past few weeks now. and like i said in my other post there's going to be a few things you're going to have to figure out before you get your quad in the air. but once you get flying there's a significant difference in flight that you'll be able to notice right away. sticks feel super smooth. raceflight is new and is still being developed. so there are going to be a few bugs, and glitches here and there. but remember it was the same way with KISS. i have a full kiss set up and also two raceflight set ups. and just my personal opinion i like the raceflight better, but setting up can be a challenge. but don't get me wrong i still love my KISS set up.
