Hi,

got some version 1.0 KISS 24a ESC soldered in the the KISS PDB - now with Dshot available Im trying to get em updated but fail to do so. Tried to get the serial with my W10 box - no luck - with a Linux also no luck - not getting any signs of the ESC

Tried this FTDI:http://www.ebay.de/itm/FT232RL-FTDI232-U...0699598695

2 questions:
-is / would it generally possible to flash soldered in the PDB? (hard to get them desoldered)
-did someone used the FDTI above successful or should I get/try a different one?

1. yes, as long as your PDB isn't powered on, and whatever devices connected to TX/RX isn't powered on
2. yes that one looks like the one we get from BG should be okay.
